Summary
Establishes preferred terminology for the movement, siting, and description of materials across Environmental Stewardship and partner operations.
The language of placement should reflect the continuing usefulness of materials rather than their history. A material’s description, like the material itself, should rest where it serves best.
Colleagues in site-facing roles are asked to use receiving-location terminology consistently in schedules, manifests, and community correspondence.
