The window-sealing programme in Building 4 is complete. The Facilities team is recognized for continuity of service throughout the works, an effort separately acknowledged in the current recognition cycle.
The programme delivers environmental consistency across all four floors. Temperature, air movement, and daylight now arrive at uniform, managed levels, ending the variability that colleagues on the western elevation had experienced in the afternoons.
Colleagues noting reduced natural ventilation are reminded that consistency is itself a comfort, and that the building’s air is now changed on a schedule rather than at the weather’s discretion. Adjustment requests may be raised through Form FM-3, where they will be balanced against the comfort of the building as a whole.
The minute closes by thanking colleagues for their patience during the works, and for the good humour with which the fourth floor, in particular, met the temporary loss of its views.
